Expert Sports Memorabilia Framing: Why Local Collectors Trust Art Concepts
At Art Concepts, we specialize in local, in-person sports memorabilia framing. From signed jerseys to game-used gear, every piece receives museum-level care and presentation so it looks incredible and stays protected for decades. We serve local customers only; we do not offer online, mail-in, or nationwide framing services.
Custom sports memorabilia shadow boxes are a unique way to preserve and showcase your most meaningful athletic memories. Whether it’s a game-worn jersey, a signed ball, or a collection of special keepsakes, a custom-crafted shadow box transforms your treasured items into a stunning display. Designed for sports fans, amateur athletes, and professional players throughout Southern California, these displays highlight the moments that matter most. From jerseys and equipment to hole-in-one memories, pennants, bats, shoes, scorecards, newspaper articles, and photos, each piece is carefully arranged to tell a story. With customizable sizes, styles, and layouts, a sports memorabilia shadow box allows you to preserve your achievements and favorite moments in a display that can be admired for years to come.
Serious fans and collectors choose us because we combine certified conservation practices with award-winning design, all delivered face-to-face in our local studio. The right frame does more than display a memory. It helps preserve color, reduce damage, and turn a keepsake into a centerpiece.
The Professional Edge
Our framers are trained to work with sensitive materials like autographed textiles, vintage paper, and three-dimensional sports items. We use acid-free mats and backings, onservation-grade materials, premium acrylic, and reversible, non-adhesive mounting methods so your memorabilia stays safe today and remains serviceable for future conservation.
That means no risky shortcuts, no mail-in uncertainty, and no one-size-fits-all framing. Every project is designed around the item itself, its condition, and the story you want to tell.
Crafting the Perfect Display
Every display starts with an in-store consultation. We assess depth, materials, and condition to choose the safest mounting method for your item. Textiles may be stitched, equipment may use saddles or custom cradles, and paper pieces like tickets or programs may be mounted with non-invasive corners or hinges.
- Jerseys & Apparel — stitched and supported to preserve shape without damaging signed surfaces.
- Bats, Balls & Equipment — custom saddles, mounts, and cradles for secure presentation.
- Tickets, Photos & Programs — archival corners, hinges, and layered mat openings.
- Plaques & Nameplates — engraved details that complete the story behind the piece.
Once the mounting method is chosen, we build the layout around background color, mat reveals, plaque placement, spacing, and optional lighting to create a clean, balanced final presentation.
Team & Bulk Orders — Local Only
We also handle local, in-person team and bulk framing projects for schools, leagues, organizations, and businesses. Whether you need a few matching displays or a larger coordinated order, we can create consistent, professional results using conservation-grade materials and repeatable design standards.
- Volume Pricing: Tiered discounts for local bulk orders and matching sets.
- Consistent Design: Team colors, plaques, mats, and layout elements standardized across the full order.
- Fast Local Turnaround: Coordinated scheduling for banquets, senior nights, recognition events, and gifting.

- Design Mockups: We present layout options with mat colors, plaque placement, reveals, and hardware choices.
- Conservation Mounting: Reversible techniques only. No glue on signed surfaces.

Care & Display Tips
- Avoid direct sunlight. In bright rooms, museum glazing offers extra protection.

- For large frames, hang on studs or use heavy-duty anchors. We provide guidance at pickup.
